Welcome to Kith Photo Log, where every pixel of your photography journey is preserved. By entering this digital darkroom, you agree to these terms designed to protect both your creative process and our shared ecosystem.
This agreement governs your use of our unique photography logging system, including the revolutionary Film Economy feature, technical metadata capture, and local storage architecture.
Your Creative License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Kith Photo Log for documenting your photographic endeavors. This license permits you to:
- Log unlimited technical parameters (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, Focal Length, Shooting Mode)
- Organize visual memories chronologically and contextually
- Utilize the search functionality to recreate past visual successes
- Generate and manage virtual film stock within the Film Economy system
Remember: This license is for your eyes and lenses only. Commercial redistribution of the app interface or reverse engineering of our exposure algorithms is strictly prohibited.
The Film Economy Constitution
Our proprietary Film Economy system introduces a gamified approach to photography discipline. By participating, you agree to:
- Accept that virtual film stock represents a limited resource designed to encourage intentional shooting
- Understand that film replenishment requires interaction with our digital store
- Acknowledge that film stock levels are stored locally and cannot be transferred between devices
- Recognize that the Film Economy is a simulation tool for creative constraint, not a cryptocurrency or financial instrument
We reserve the right to adjust film consumption rates, pricing structures, and availability to maintain system balance and user engagement.
Data Sovereignty & The Local Vault
Kith Photo Log operates on a privacy-first architecture. Your data resides exclusively on your device:
- All photographic metadata, scene notes, and film stock levels are stored locally
- We do not maintain servers containing your shooting history or technical preferences
- You are solely responsible for backing up your data through your device's native systems
- Deletion of the application results in permanent loss of all logged data unless externally backed up
Your privacy is absolute. We cannot access, share, or restore your data because we never possess it. You are the sole curator of your photographic archive.
Intellectual Property Exposure
While you retain full ownership of your photographs and the metadata you input, you agree that:
- The Kith Photo Log interface, color schemes, and interaction patterns are our exclusive property
- Any feedback or feature suggestions you provide may be implemented without compensation
- You will not use our trademarked Film Economy system or "Never Forget a Setting" philosophy in competing products
Technical Limitations & Acceptable Use
You understand that Kith Photo Log is a manual logging tool, not an automatic EXIF extractor. You agree to:
- Input data accurately and honestly for your own benefit
- Not use the app for surveillance, harassment, or documentation of prohibited activities
- Accept that app performance depends on your device's capabilities and available storage
- Refrain from attempting to artificially manipulate Film Economy balances through technical exploits
Termination & Darkroom Closure
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- You may cease use and delete the application at any time without notice
- We may suspend access if you violate these terms, particularly regarding data manipulation or reverse engineering
- Upon termination, all local data remains your responsibility; we retain no copies
Evolution of the Process
Photography techniques evolve, and so do our terms. We may update this agreement to reflect:
- New features (such as advanced filtering or sharing capabilities)
- Adjustments to the Film Economy mechanics
- Enhanced privacy protections or technical requirements
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be highlighted within the app interface.
Resolution & Community Standards
Disputes regarding this agreement shall first attempt resolution through direct communication with our support team. Both parties commit to:
- Good faith negotiation before escalation
- Respecting the creative community standards that define Kith Photo Log's user base
- Acknowledging that technical limitations are not grounds for liability
